$0.00

The Vodafone Automotive 4822 CAN-BUS Upgrade Alarm offers 3 models to suit your budget and protection needs.

All versions integrate seamlessly with the vehicles existing keyless entry system using CAN-BUS. This allows you to use the alarm with the factory remote control. For vehicles where the required CAN-BUS mapping is unavailable the 4822 can be configurated as a PLIP Alarm.

The 4822 – Essential CAN-BUS Upgrade Alarm is a recommended addition to any vehicle where you wish to retain the existing remotes and add an alarm.

It’s got all the basics covered. Essential protection includes a tilt sensor as standard, along with door, boot and bonnet protection. Being a CAN-BUS alarm it integrates seamlessly with the vehicle’s existing keyless entry system.

Essential intrusion alert protection

The 4822 – Essential CAN-BUS Upgrade Alarm will honk the car’s original horn for 30 seconds in synchronization with the hazard lights to warn of an intrusion alert.

For cars that lack a factory immobiliser, or those that simply want an added layer of security, a crank immobiliser can be added to the 4822. – This option requires the accessory harness.

How the crank immobiliser works

The Immobiliser will prevent the car from starting whilst the alarm is armed. Once the alarm is disarmed the car will start as per normal.
